Riders of the Week

Our team riders and Coaches work hard, really hard!   These individuals have proven themselves to be our "Riders of the Week" and "Coach of the Week!"   You all  rock, great job!  If you have someone you'd like to nominate, contact the team!


Hyland Division

G-Team

Rider of the week: Emma Crosby

Emma had a great season this year. Between her medals for slopestyle, alpine, and bx comps, she still remained focused on enjoying herself.  Underneath that stellar goggle tan is a great team mate to the other riders on the team, and a role model for the younger riders who look up to her.

G-Team Junior
Rider: Isaac Swartz 

Isaac has improved his riding this season.  He can control his edges and he has way more confidence than at the beginning of the season.  He's not afraid to venture into the park either.

 

 


G "Fun" Team- Tues/Thur
Tues. Rider: Julian Kidd

The enthusiasm he has for practice is great.  He always has a huge smile on his face and is always eager to share what he's working on, and what new tricks he has mastered.

 

 
G "Fun" Team- Sat 
A.M. Rider: Justin Brill

Justin did a great job at the intercomp. Good enthusiasm, and willingness to listen to the coaches. What a great way to end the season by giving it your all. Looking forward to seeing more  progression from Justin in the future.


P.M. Rider:   Roxanne Freeman

After a couple of setbacks for the intercomp, she pulled it together for a solid second run. The small park had changed from the prior weeks, and so the features that Roxanne was practicing on were missing. Roxanne showed a lot of courage to continue on, and hit features she was unfamiliar with, and finish the competition strong. This is the right G Fun Team attitude, and we are proud of her. Great job!!

 
G "Fun" Team- Sunday
Rider: Mary Hilton
This young lady has the attitude and ability of an exceptional snowboarder. This is Mary's first season with the G Team, and she has already grown in her abilities on the hill. We look forward to seeing more from Mary in the coming years. 

Wild Division

G-Team / G-Team Junior

 Rider: Coach Myles would like to give this weeks recognition to all of the Wild team members.  It has been a great season full of progression and tons of new tricks learned!

 
Elm Creek

G-Team / G-Team Junior

Rider: Madison Lea

Madison showed some serious improvements the last few weeks of the season. She responded well to the prospect of competition - having a tangible goal to strive for motivated her to concentrate, and work harder during practice.


G "Fun" Team

Rider: Amelia Andersson

Amelia has been making steady progress all season.  She is a determined rider who when she puts her mind to it, she can accomplish any goal set before her.


Coach 

 

Coach: Jacob Polingo

This coach is at practice before everyone.  He has a determined, and calm manner of approach with his riders.  They have truly benefitted from his dedication to coaching this season.  Thanks for all your efforts Jacob!
