Common Q&A's

1. Do I have to compete?
-No. Athletes have the choice of whether or not they wish to compete. We encourage athletes to progress in snowboarding regardless if they compete or not. Some athletes ride on the team a few years before they begin competing and some enjoy the snowboard progression without competing.

2. What is the cut-off date for each age group?
-It is determined by the age of the individual on December 31 of that season.

3. Do I need a ticket to compete?
-If you do not have a season pass at that particular ski area, you must purchase a lift ticket. Most ski areas will have a reduced rate ticket for our team riders competing.

4. Do I need to where a helmet?
-Every athlete practicing or competing must wear an approved helmet at all times!

5. Which events should I do?
-If you are a new rider on the team, we will assist you to find your best-suited disciplines. We do encourage all riders interested in competition to try all disciplines.
